For over 60 years, Deltar has specialised in high-phosphorus electroless nickel plating treatments and, in particular, silicon carbide (NiSiC) and Nickel-PTFE codeposits, designed to protect and enhance the products treated.

PLANTS

Latest-generation industrial plants

Deltar has a complete range of technologies to address any production need with maximum flexibility and precision:

  • Plants for small and large parts, both rack and barrel, able to treat components from a single gram up to 58 tonnes and over 5 m in length;
  • Acid-free nickel stripping plant, which removes the nickel coating while preserving the integrity of the original surface;
  • Heat treatment furnaces up to 700 °C, used to stabilise and optimise the mechanical and chemical characteristics of the coatings;
  • High- and low-pressure sandblasting plants, to prepare or finish surfaces before and after treatment;
  • Low-pressure microfiltration with high hourly turnover, to maintain optimal purity and performance of the treatment baths;
  • Dual thermal power station, for production continuity and no plant downtime;
  • Complete digitalisation of production and management processes, with on-site and off-site remote control, in line with the principles of Industry 4.0.

LABORATORY

In-house laboratory for quality control

Our in-house laboratory supports every stage of the processes with state-of-the-art instruments and verification methods:

  • Microscopic analysis of the chemical-physical characteristics of the deposit, to assess thickness, uniformity and adhesion;
  • Corrosion testing in a salt spray chamber, to simulate aggressive operating conditions;
  • Roughness gauges and microhardness testers (fixed and portable), to determine surface finish and hardness;
  • Metallographic section and laboratory lapping machines, to prepare and assess sample sections;
  • Bend test, to check the mechanical strength of the coating.

This integrated approach guarantees that every treated component meets the specified standards and offers high, long-lasting performance.
