The
Nickel ptfe
is a codeposite consisting of the high phosphorus chemical nickel ENP 1012 and a polymer belonging to the perfluorocarbon class, polytetrafluoroethylene or
PTFE
. PTFE particles with a diameter of 0.1-1 um are embedded within a matrix of electroless nickel distributing evenly throughout the thickness.
This coating has as its essential characteristics a low coefficient of friction associated with excellent corrosion resistance and high hardness.
